In Entre Ici & Ailleurs (Between Here & Elsewhere, in French), her newsletter, writes about her years as an expatriate, her career changes and her inner questioning, often in close contact with nature.

She explores what her experiences have taught her about the way we move through transitions: how we change, how we stay ourselves, how we allow ourselves to become someone else without losing ourselves.

Her writing speaks of people pleasing, of the fear of disappointing others, of what happens when we no longer recognize ourselves, and also of Singapore, where she lives as an expatriate, of trees, of the ocean, of those places and landscapes that transform us and ground us when everything is pulling in every direction.

Beyond her degrees and her role as a psychologist, Sophie writes from life as it is lived: she shares the way she moves through it. Not from above, not as the one who knows, but as a Shifter among others, among us.

Sophie adds her voice to those building Correspondences | The Aligned Shift Magazine, a space for stories and reflections for those seeking a more aligned way to live, create, work and belong.

Here, you will follow her from one piece of writing to the next, among other voices that, like hers, explore the inner and outer shifts of life. You will come to know her, and perhaps recognize yourself in her.

Welcome to Correspondences, Sophie! We are lucky to have you with us. 🌿

A place for your voice

The Aligned Shift is an editorial house where practitioners and those they accompany first meet through resonance, without the noise. Two doors: Correspondences | The Aligned Shift Magazine for the written word, and Words of Shifters, the podcast, for the spoken one.
Do you accompany others? Write or speak with us. Over time, your presence in the house opens a profile page for you on thealignedshift.media: a page in your name, linked to your writing, where people looking for a practitioner can find and contact you. It can’t be bought or requested; it is earned through your presence. More visibility online, so a better chance of being found by people who search through AI agents.
